I saw a movie few days ago which was named The Memory Keeper's Daughter. It adapted from a novel written by American novelist Kim Edwards.
The story started on one night with strong snowstorm. Dr. David Henry rushed his pregnant wife Norah to the hospital. He delivered his own child with the help of the nurse Caroline Gill.
His son, born first, was perfectly healthy. Dr. Henry discovered that his wife was carrying twins, and helped her to deliver the second child, a baby girl named Phoebe.
Shortly after Phoebe's birth, Dr. Henry immediately recognized that his daughter had Down syndrome. (Individuals with Down syndrome tend to have a lower than average cognitive ability) He made a split-second decision that will haunt all their lives forever.
He asked his nurse, Caroline to take the baby away to an institution. Instead, Caroline disappeared into another city to raise the girl as her own.
Dr. Henry told Norah that the baby girl died after she was just born. The reason of the white lie was because that, his sister had the same illness which took her life. His sister's death nearly destroyed their mother and he didn’t want Norah to go through that.
Caroline kept sending letters and photos of Phoebe to Dr. Henry and Dr. Henry kept these as a secret until he died.
There is no right and wrong. Henry just did what he considered to be right, even though the life was not easy. Compulsively, it's watchable and deeply moving. The Memory Keeper's Daughter is a brilliantly crafted movie of parallel lives, familial secret, and redemptive power of love.
Here is the poster. Actually, it isn't the poster of the movie and it's the cover of the novel. I think the cover is more suitable for the story than the poster, even the actors are beautiful and handsome on the poster.

I went to a drama play the day before yesterday. It didn’t have an English name, so I translate it into English- Ideas about life of two dogs. The director was 孟京辉. It was an interesting play. There were only two actors in the play(刘晓晔、韩鹏翼). They performed hardly and humorous. But I recommend that you don’t sit at the first line if you go to the play. If you choose to sit in the first line, wow~ god bless you!

This is a good movie. It’s a simple story. The man Ben (Will Smith) made a terrible mistake. He hurt several people in a car accident, including his wife. He considered himself a guilty person. So he started to look for people who need help. At the end of the movie, he committed suicide in the bathtub of a small hotel. What was his purpose? He wanted to save the people he chose. He donated his eyes, kidneys, heart and his house, his everything.
Although it was a simple story, it was wonderful because of the way the story was told. The movie is flashback. At the begining of the story, Ben committed suicide, he called the 911. There are much suspense in the movie. I always asked why. I always wanted to know the result of the story. Right, I want to mention that Will Smith, he performed very well. I like it, but I think the main reason that I like it is that he is a handsome guy.
There was a scene that I can’t forget. The girl who needed a healthy heart asked Ben to have dinner together. She decorated the yard. There were a lot of candles, and they danced in the yard. All that happened were very romantic.
I mentioned a lot of things about the movie. Anyway, I consider it a good movie, and I extremely recommend it. Well, I found a wallpaper of the movie. You can download it if you like it. There are 1024*768 and 1280*1024 versions. By the way, I like the dog.

This is a great movie, and this is a great song.

昨天是周二，电影票半价，我们去看了黄鱼一直吵着要看的冯小刚的《集结号》。本来我对这部片子是没有太多感觉的，本人一向对战争片不是很感冒，但是看过以后，确实有很多不一样的感受。难怪即使是大晚上10点的场次，还是座无虚席。
冯小刚给了我一种完全不同的对于战争的感受。以前我们在电视上看到的一些关于战争的连续剧，或者是传统教育告诉我们的战争总是有一个庞大的全貌，无畏牺牲的战士，正确的立场、伟大的胜利，聪明的战略布署，同志们钢铁一样的战友之情……可是这一切却让我感觉距离遥远，无法想像出经历那战火硝烟的真实感受是什么样的。虽然也看过一些还不错的描写战争的国外大片，但必竟是一些金发碧眼高鼻梁的老外，看得再投入，也无法感同身受。
而这次，冯小刚站在了一个客观的位置来描写战争中小人物之间的种种，恐惧、愤怒、委屈、坚强、忠诚……现实的战场上没有对与错的选择，只有生与死的无奈，没有战友之间相互悲怜的娇情，只有被敌人激起的铁骨铮铮的愤怒。在那种情况下对于死亡，只能选择放弃，以保住更多人的生还，以保住自己的力量来与敌人抗衡。战争无论如何都是残酷的。
看完这部片子以后，我似乎有些理解那些出生入死在战场上杀敌的老兵们的内心，似乎可以理解为什么《激情燃烧的岁月》里的石光荣为什么会有那么倔强的脾气。冯小刚让我看到了战争更客观真实的一面。他用镜头让我感动了。这是这么多年来中国商业大片所没有涉及过和领域，但是冯小刚做到了，而且做得很用心，很投入，很过瘾。
在电影院里，很多女孩都忍不住哭了，我也一样，其间哭了不知几次，而且是很想放声大哭的那种，可惜是在电影院里，不能哭得痛快，不过我真得推荐大家都看这部片子，而且女孩一定要带好面巾纸，不然像我这样，用衣袖擦鼻涕就实在有失雅观了。

昨天晚上享受了一场视觉、听觉、以及心灵的盛宴。虽然用盛宴这个词来形容这部电影觉得未免有些太过华丽，其实他是可以让人沉下心来，安静享受的一部片子，但这么说无非是想说明对他的高度评价。由Anne Hathaway和James McAvoy主演的影片《Becoming Jane》（成为简•奥斯汀）让我完完全全的沉醉在了那个十八世纪的英格兰村庄。虽然情节很传统，但是却让人感动。影片中他们对于爱情的向往，痴迷，是生活在现如今的人们很难再有的体验。
二十岁的简遇到了汤姆•勒弗罗伊。他们的感情成为了现实生活中的传奇，而爱情故事也成为她毕生最伟大的著作。
在当时的英国社会，为了爱情而结婚是一个愚蠢的游戏。金钱决定了整个等级分明世界的运转。奥斯汀夫妇，在把他们最小的女儿嫁出去的时候，对这一点非常清楚。只是简心意已决，精神上的独立自主和桀骜不逊，再加上年轻人的傲慢与偏见，她决定要为爱而婚。
即使如此，父母还是希望为简挑选一个富裕且有远大前程的丈夫。最理想的选择就是当地贵族、声名显赫而且非常富有的格瑞莎姆夫人的侄子。虽然他们千方百计要促成此事，但还是被简直接了当地拒绝了。
后来，她遇到了年轻的爱尔兰人汤姆•勒弗罗伊。他是一位律师实习生，和简的哥哥亨利一起从伦敦来汉普郡游玩。他长相英俊、聪明过人但也十分拮据。他对简单纯朴的乡村生活毫无兴趣。但是不久就发现了与自己心灵相通的简•奥斯汀。两个人彼此找到了无数共同的兴趣爱好。他们在小树林里唇枪舌战，他们在人群拥挤的舞会上翩翩起舞。她在玩板球上技高一筹，而他则送《汤姆•琼斯》给她阅读。两个人陷入了爱河之中。
即使如此，珍贵的爱情也不能逃脱世俗的逼迫。最终他们选择了私奔，就在他们即将踏上为爱而逃亡的路上，简发现了汤姆身上的一封信，便决定从此离开他，最终回到了自己的家。并且从此，终身未嫁。
在看片子的时候，不知几时开始，眼泪便已悄悄的爬到脸上，演员们的表演很不错，影片的画面、场景、道具都十分的精致美丽。宁静的乡村生活，优雅而不张扬的英式古老的房子，绅士般的高头俊马，广阔清凉的海滩……我也很喜欢影片中表现出来的简•奥斯汀的性格，虽然最后她选择了离开，离开自己深爱，也深爱自己的人，但我想如果没有当初不想让他背负名誉受损以及不顾家庭、责任的理智，如果没有对彼此忍痛割爱的放手成全，他何以成为如此的他，她又何以成为如此的她，并不是只有激情迸发时弃世孤行的爱情才最真挚可贵。也许只有留在心底的那一丝丝最初的爱的记忆，才足以支撑整个孤单而富有的人生。
